Il Ponte Contemporanea Gallery, caracterized by a strong international vocation, is moving to one of the most undrground and alternative neiborhoods in Rome: Testaccio – Ostiense.

Murales, factories and constructions of metropolitan allure in contrast with buildings of the 800’s attract artists, collectors, film makers, and business men making the neiborhood one of the most creative and stimulating of the capital.

The new space Showcase situated in Via dei Magazzini Generali will be a proper Showcase where solo shows that will involve established artists without neglecting the resaerch of the new generation will be organized.  Showcase is the result of an innovative managerial vision and also of an approach that better rappresents the transformations that invest the model of traditional galleries.

The idea is the one of modifiyng the conception of the show space, from physical space to media  space without concrete and pre established borders.

The first series of exhibitions, ONE will present chosen artists considering all the artistic movements without neglecting any media.  The ONE project is in colaboration with Achille Bonito Oliva, as did the past l in the other much bigger locations (see Invito all’ opera – sez Publications).

As usual at the end of this series of exhibitions a book, with an essay by Achille Bonito Oliva will be published.
